The Arena
Killua Zoldyck stepped through a strange portal into a vast, humming server farm, rows of computers blinking in the dark. He was looking at the lights, curious, when a huge figure, half man and half machine, stepped out from between the servers, his red eye glowing. “You’re trespassing,” said Cyborg.
Killua looked at the metal body, the wires, the glowing circuits, and grinned. “Woah. You’re like a robot.” Cyborg frowned. “I’m a person. I just have a lot of upgrades.” Killua’s hair began to crackle with static. “Cool. I have upgrades too.” Electricity ran down his arms.
Cyborg’s scanners registered the voltage and his eye flashed red in alarm. “Oh. That’s… not good.”
Round One
Cyborg fired his sonic cannon, a blast that could flatten a building. Killua dodged it with blinding speed, ran up a server rack and leapt at Cyborg’s head. Cyborg caught him in mid-air with one huge metal hand and threw him across the room. Killua landed on his feet, laughing.
Cyborg was strong, tough and full of weapons. His cannon, missiles and super-strength made him a match for most opponents. He fired a barrage of mini-missiles that filled the server farm with explosions. Killua weaved through them all, moving so fast he seemed to teleport.
Then he touched Cyborg’s arm, just once, and sent a spark of electricity through it. Cyborg’s arm spasmed and locked up.
The Turn
Cyborg’s body was a masterpiece of technology, but technology has a weakness: electricity. Killua’s lightning surged through his circuits, overloading them one by one. His sonic cannon fizzled. His targeting system glitched. His right leg locked at the knee.
Cyborg fought back with everything he could still use. He hacked into the server farm itself, turning the room’s security systems against Killua: laser grids, sealed doors, automated turrets. It was brilliant. Killua dodged the lasers, slipped through the doors before they closed, and sent a bolt of lightning into the turrets that fried them all at once.
“Okay,” Cyborg said, his voice crackling. “You are a nightmare for someone like me.”
The Finish
Killua activated Godspeed, lightning wrapping his whole body, and moved so fast the security cameras recorded only a blur. He tapped Cyborg on the chest, one precise touch, and sent a single controlled pulse through his core systems. Every light on Cyborg’s body flickered and went dark.
Cyborg dropped to one knee, rebooting, his voice coming out in a slow, distorted crawl. “System… restart… in progress.” Killua crouched in front of him, worried. “Hey. You’re okay, right? I didn’t break anything important?” Cyborg’s eye flickered back to red. “Just my pride,” he said.
Killua laughed and helped him up. Cyborg spent the rest of the night upgrading his insulation, while Killua sat on a server rack eating chocolate and making helpful suggestions. Cyborg ignored most of them. He used two.
The verdict
Killua Zoldyck wins
Cyborg is strong, tough and full of weapons, but his body is technology, and Killua is made of lightning: every touch overloads Cyborg’s circuits, and Godspeed shuts down his core systems.
- ElectricityKillua’s lightning overloads Cyborg’s circuits.
- SpeedGodspeed outpaces every weapon Cyborg has.
- Hard counterTechnology is weak against a living lightning bolt.
How the rematch could go differently: A Cyborg with fully insulated systems and a Boom Tube to escape through could fight Killua on even terms.
