The Arena
Kaguya Otsutsuki, the first being to wield chakra, sensed a power on Earth unlike any chakra she had ever known, and descended to claim it. She found Goku training alone on a mountain, punching the air. He felt her arrive and turned, grinning. “Woah! You’re strong! Really strong!”
Kaguya looked at him with her three pale eyes, cold and imperious. “All chakra belongs to me. You will give me yours.” Goku scratched his head. “Chakra? I don’t have any of that. I’ve got ki.” Kaguya’s eyes narrowed. “Then I will take whatever you have.” She raised her hand, and the mountain vanished.
Goku found himself standing on an endless field of ice under a white sky. He looked around, delighted. “Cool! Where are we?”
Round One
Kaguya attacked with bones that shot out of her palms, spears that turned anything they pierced to ash. Goku dodged them, impressed. She opened a portal and dropped him into a sea of lava. He flew out of it, his gi smoking, laughing. She sent him to a desert of crushing gravity. He walked across it, then started doing push-ups.
Kaguya was not used to opponents who enjoyed her dimensions. She attacked with Expansive Truth-Seeking Ball, a sphere that disintegrates everything within its radius. Goku saw it coming and dodged, and it erased a mountain of ice behind him.
Goku stopped smiling for a moment. “Okay. That one was dangerous.” Then his hair turned gold.
The Turn
Kaguya decided to end it. She opened a portal into a dimension of her own creation, a sealed void with no way out, and pulled Goku into it. In that void, no one could escape. She had trapped her own sons there once. She turned away, satisfied.
Then Goku appeared behind her with two fingers on his forehead. Instant Transmission. He did not need a door. He only needed to sense someone’s energy, and he had sensed Kaguya’s from the moment she arrived. “That was a neat trick,” he said cheerfully. Kaguya spun around, shocked.
For the first time in her long existence, the Rabbit Goddess had met someone she could not trap.
The Finish
Goku went Super Saiyan Blue, his aura blazing across the ice. Kaguya threw everything at him: bone spears, truth-seeking balls, gravity, dimensions. He dodged, blocked and teleported through all of it, and then he was in front of her, and his Kamehameha hit her at point-blank range.
Kaguya was thrown across the ice dimension, her robes burning, her three eyes dim. She lay in the snow, unable to rise, staring up at the white sky. Goku landed beside her and crouched down. “You okay?” he asked. Kaguya stared at him. No one had ever asked her that.
“You do not want my power,” she said slowly. Goku shook his head. “Nope. I just wanted to see how strong you were. You were really strong!” He helped her up. Kaguya, who had been sealed in the moon for a thousand years, did not know what to say. So, for once, she said nothing, and let a Saiyan take her back to Earth.
The verdict
Goku wins
Kaguya’s dimension-hopping, ash-bone spears and truth-seeking balls would defeat almost anyone, but Goku’s Instant Transmission escapes any dimension she traps him in, and Super Saiyan Blue overwhelms her.
