The Arena
Sasuke Uchiha was travelling between dimensions with his Rinnegan, searching for traces of the Otsutsuki clan, when he stepped into a world under a black sky and onto a mountain peak where a huge blond man stood with a hammer in one hand, laughing at the storm.
Thor turned at the sound of footsteps and grinned. “A traveller from another realm! Welcome! Do you drink?” Sasuke did not answer. His Sharingan flared, and he read the god’s energy: lightning, enormous and wild, more power in that hammer than he had ever seen in a single weapon. Sasuke had spent his life mastering lightning.
He drew his sword. “Show me,” he said. Thor’s grin widened. “Ah. A warrior. Even better.”
Round One
Sasuke struck first with Chidori, a blade of lightning that shrieked like a thousand birds, and drove it into Thor’s chest. The God of Thunder staggered back, then laughed. “You brought lightning to a fight with me? Bold!” He raised Mjolnir, and the sky answered.
A bolt of lightning thicker than a tree came down on Sasuke. He absorbed some of it through his sword and redirected the rest into the mountain, the way only a master of lightning style could. Thor stopped laughing and looked genuinely impressed. Nobody had ever done that before.
For a while they fought like two storms meeting: lightning blades against lightning bolts, the Sharingan reading every swing of the hammer, Mjolnir smashing the mountain apart wherever Sasuke had been a moment earlier.
The Turn
Sasuke raised his hand and pulled the storm’s own lightning into a single shape: Kirin, a dragon made of thunder, drawn down from the sky on a path no one could dodge. It struck Thor with a roar that shook the clouds, and when the light cleared, the god was on one knee, smoking.
Thor rose slowly, and he was smiling more than ever. “You use my storm against me,” he said. “Truly, you are worthy of a real fight.” His eyes began to glow with pure lightning. His power rose, and rose, until the entire sky was one crackling sheet of light.
Sasuke’s purple Susanoo burst around him, a giant armoured warrior of chakra. Even so, he felt the storm overhead and understood that it was no longer the storm’s lightning he was fighting. It was the god himself.
The Finish
Thor called down the God Blast, lightning from every storm across every realm, focused through Mjolnir into a single strike. It hit Sasuke’s Susanoo like a falling star. The armour cracked, held, cracked again, and shattered completely, and the blast hurled Sasuke across the mountain top into the rocks.
He tried to rise. His chakra was almost gone, his Rinnegan dim. Thor landed beside him, Mjolnir at his side, and offered his hand. Sasuke stared at it for a long moment, a man who had once refused every helping hand offered to him.
Then he took it. Thor pulled him to his feet with a laugh that drowned the thunder. “Come to Asgard,” he said. “We will feast, and then you will teach me that dragon trick.” Sasuke almost smiled. “Only if you teach me how to make a storm.”
