The Arena
Biscuit Oliva, Mister Unchained, had walked out of his luxury prison cell on a dare: someone told him there was a woman in another world who could punch harder than any man alive. Oliva did not believe it. He found Tsunade in a training ground cut out of a mountainside, drinking sake from a bottle.
Tsunade looked up at the enormous muscular man in the expensive suit and laughed. “You came all this way to arm-wrestle me?” Oliva removed his jacket, revealing muscles like boulders. “I came to see if the rumours were true, madam.” Tsunade put down the sake. “Fine. Let’s make it quick. I have a council meeting.”
She cracked her knuckles. The mountain behind her seemed to shiver.
Round One
Oliva struck first, a punch with the full weight of his enormous body. Tsunade caught it in one hand. Oliva’s eyes widened. She squeezed, and his knuckles cracked. Then she pulled him forward and hit him in the stomach with a punch that lifted him off the ground and threw him twenty metres into the mountainside.
Oliva climbed out of the crater he had made, grinning. That had been the hardest punch he had ever taken. He came back at her and wrapped her in a bear hug, the hold that had crushed men in half. Tsunade grunted, then pushed her arms outward and broke the hold as if it were made of paper.
Oliva stepped back, deeply impressed. He had never met anyone stronger than himself. Until today.
The Turn
Oliva tightened every muscle in his body into a single armoured ball, the defence that had made him unbreakable. Tsunade punched it, and the ground beneath them cracked. She punched again, and the crack spread across the whole training ground. Oliva held. He was very, very hard to hurt.
Then he exploded out of the defence with a punch to her jaw that would have killed any ordinary person. Tsunade’s head snapped sideways. She spat blood. Then the diamond-shaped seal on her forehead began to glow, and black lines spread across her skin, and the bruise on her jaw vanished as if it had never been there.
“Strength of a Hundred Seal,” she said, smiling. “I heal faster than you can hit me.” Oliva, for the first time in his life, felt something close to fear.
The Finish
Oliva did not give up. He threw everything he had: punches, kicks, his entire body as a battering ram. Tsunade took some of it, healed instantly, and answered with blows that grew stronger every time. Finally she stamped her heel into the ground, and the whole training ground split open in a canyon.
Oliva fell into the crack and was buried up to his chest in rock. He strained against it, his huge muscles bulging, and could not move. Tsunade crouched down at the edge of the canyon and looked at him, almost kindly.
“You are very strong,” she said. “For someone who does not use chakra, you might be the strongest person I have ever met.” Oliva laughed, a deep and genuine laugh. “You flatter me, madam.” Tsunade pulled him out of the rock with one hand and sent him home with a bottle of her best sake. He still keeps it in his cell, unopened.
The verdict
Tsunade wins
Oliva is the strongest pure muscle in the Baki world and lands blows that would kill anyone else, but Tsunade’s chakra-enhanced strength splits mountains and her healing seal erases every injury he causes.
- Chakra strengthTsunade’s punches carry far more force than pure muscle.
- Strength of a Hundred SealShe heals instantly from every blow.
- Medical knowledgeShe knows exactly where to strike.
How the rematch could go differently: A Tsunade who had used up her seal’s stored chakra in a war beforehand would be far more vulnerable to Oliva’s strength.
